Join Us at Heal the Hood Community Resource Fair

We are excited to share that Sijia Chen Studio will be joining the 20th Annual Heal the Hood Community Resource Fair, hosted by Families Against Violent Acts, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Montbello High School Parking Lot.

As part of the community engagement process for Life Tower, Sijia Chen’s upcoming public artwork for Denver Fire Department Station 40, we will host a hands-on papercut activity inviting community members to learn, create, and contribute ideas for the artwork’s final papercut-inspired panels.

This activity connects papercutting with a meditative, healing art practice. Participants of all ages are welcome to stop by, make their own papercut designs, and share stories, symbols, and images that reflect their community.
